About this policy

This policy explains how BrollCat handles information when you use our AI visual agent for video essays. It covers the website, project workspace, Library, rendering, payments, and support.

Information we process

We may process:

• Account data: name, email address, authentication events, preferences, and account status.
• Project content: prompts, scripts, research, conversation messages, Storyboards, Scene scripts, VideoSpecs, goals, Brand Kits, and Creator Playbooks.
• Uploaded media: video, audio, images, logos, transcripts, and the rights statements you provide.
• Production data: selected free-media sources, narration timing, render jobs, artifacts, checksums, error records, credit usage, and delivery files.
• Technical data: IP address, browser and device information, cookies, request logs, security events, and feature usage.
• Commercial and support data: orders, subscription state, invoices, credit ledger entries, support tickets, and messages. Payment providers process full payment credentials; BrollCat does not store full card numbers.

Why we use it

We use this information to authenticate users, save and render projects, provide downloads, calculate credits, process subscriptions, answer support requests, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, and improve product reliability. We do not sell personal information.

AI and service providers

Project content may be sent to the providers enabled for your workflow, such as DeepSeek for planning, Creem for pre-generation prompt moderation when Creem payments are enabled, a configured speech or narration provider, Pexels, Pixabay, or Coverr for licensed free-media search, private object storage, payment processors, authentication, transactional email, hosting, and error monitoring. Free-media providers receive only the concrete visual search phrases needed for the planned shots. We send only the information reasonably needed for each task and keep provider credentials server-side; provider processing is also governed by their terms.

BrollCat does not use a creator reference as permission to clone a voice, likeness, copyrighted work, or distinctive expression. You must have the rights required for anything you upload or instruct us to process.

Storage and access

User Library files and render artifacts are private by default and require an authenticated ownership check. Production files are intended to be stored in a private object-storage bucket. We use access controls, transport encryption, limited credentials, input validation, and audit records, but no online service can promise absolute security.

Retention and deletion

We retain account, project, billing, and production records for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and prevent fraud. Intermediate render files may have a shorter retention window than delivered projects. Deletion can be delayed for backups, financial records, security investigations, or legal requirements. Account deletion and data requests are handled through Account → Support until a dedicated self-service deletion flow is available.

International processing

BrollCat is designed for creators in multiple countries. Our service providers may process data outside your country. Where required, we use the contractual and technical measures available for those transfers.

Your choices and rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, object to, restrict, or delete personal data. You can update basic profile information in Account settings and submit other requests through Account → Support. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

Children

BrollCat is not directed to children under 13, or the higher minimum age required in their country. Do not use the service if you cannot legally agree to these terms.
